Russia resumes patrol missions in troubled Syrian regions

A unit of the Russian military police carried out a patrol mission in the Syrian province of Raqqa on July 15, a source of the Rossa Primavera News Agency reports from Syria.

“The Russian military police carry out patrol missions near the city of Tel al-Samen to the north of Raqqa,” the source reported.

On July 14, a suicide bomber in a car attacked a Russian-Syrian patrol near the town of Ariha in the Syrian province of Idlib.

There Russian military police servicemen were wounded. Their armored personnel carrier was damaged and taken to the base for repairs.
