Putin suggests that West condemn political assassinations in Donbass

16.11.2018, Singapore.

Western countries should condemn the political assassinations in Donbass, not the elections, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said at the final press conference of the East Asia Summit, TASS reported on November 15.

According to the Russian president, he had never heard Western countries condemn the politically-motivated assassinations in Donbass. Also, Vladimir Putin expressed disappointment with the delay in the implementation of the Minsk agreements by President of Ukraine Pyotr Poroshenko. The Ukrainian side also undermines the “all for all” POW exchange, opening criminal investigations against some of the prisoners. At the same time, the Russian leader believes that the conflict in the former Ukraine can only have a peaceful resolution.
