Two pupils from Makeevka are to visit the international Ushakov camp and also to take part in the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the tank battle in Prokhorovka, informs the Donetsk News Agency on July 2.
The pupils of Makeevka school № 59, Yaroslav Bulgakov and Sophia Akchurina, accompanied by a teacher, are going for a trip which will last through July 12. The Russian center founded to strengthen the integration of Russia and Donbass in different spheres of social life has contributed to the organization of the trip.
The Ushakov camp is an annual event organized by the Fedor Ushakov Center and aimed at spiritual, moral, and patriotic education of the youth.
The tank Battle of Prokhorovka took place during the Battle of Kursk. It led to the disruption of the German offensive, which became an important turning point of the whole Great Patriotic War.
