Four militant commanders killed in Syria

Four commanders of terrorist organizations have been killed, a Syrian source reported to the Rossa Primavera Information Agency on January 16.

Terrorist Abu Muhammad Shaaban, the military commander of the Katyya al Badia group, an ally to the Tahrir al-Sham group, has been killed in the south-east of the Idlib province. Also, Ali Mahmoud Khalil, the leader of the Liwa Jund Al Haramayn brigade, has been killed.

Two Tahrir al-Sham group leaders have been killed: Abu Mahmoud Sahal and Abu Khatem Sahal. This happened in the northern Hama province.

The Idlib and Hama provinces are the places of the most active hostilities between the Syrian governmental forces and Islamists. One of the most active militant groups is Tahrir al-Sham based on the Jabhat al-Nusra group (organization banned in Russia).
