Belarus is ready to help Venezuela economically

During the negotiations with President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro on October 5, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko announced readiness to help Venezuela to restore the economy, reports TASS.

“We are ready to provide full support to you as our closest and good friends. Let us think together today how we can solve the problems Venezuela is currently facing. We will be able to solve them within the next five years,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

The President said, citing the Belorussian experience, that five years is the time in which it is possible to resolve the problems facing a country despite the difficult situation in Venezuela if its leadership proves to have willpower and will achieve discipline,

In turn, the President of Venezuela emphasized that, according to him, the country is in a good point for the economic revival and growth at this moment.

President of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro arrived to the Republic of Belarus on official visit on October 5. During the visit, there are plans to discuss trade and economic agreements between two countries, bilateral projects, and production cooperation. Moreover, it is planned that Maduro will take part in the opening ceremony of the memorial to the national hero and one of the leaders of the war for independence of Venezuela Simón Bolivar in Minsk.
