Kiev forces violated ceasefire 35 times over the last 24 hours, Donetsk News Agency reported on October 2, 2017, citing the representative of DPR operations command.
17 towns and villages in the Republic came under fire. Ukrainian forces opened fire by tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, mortars, grenade launchers, and small arms.The information about victims is being specified.
Maxim Zhukovsky, Head of Petrovsky district administration in Donetsk, said that during the last night the artillery shells, launched by Ukraine, destroyed two houses and a shed. “It was very noisy at night, the Ukrainian military shelled the village Trudovskie. The shelling completely destroyed one house at 29 Mark Ozerny street and damaged the roof of building 31 on the same street. Also, the shed at 67 Livonevskogo street was destroyed by fire”, he said.
On August 25, 2017, the Contact Group in Minsk agreed on the next truce, this time for the beginning of school year, already the fifth truce this year.
