Combat using the small arms erupted on the northern outskirts of Gorlovka and at the north-western borders of Yasinovataya, the Ukrainian artillery was active on the southern direction, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on August 13.
During the day, the Ukrainian military repeatedly opened fire on the residential quarters of Dokuchaevsk with infantry fighting vehicles. 2 multiple-storey buildings on Vatutin street were damaged by enemy’s fire.
Last night, the Ukrainian army heavily shelled the villages in the Novoazovsky district of the DPR with artillery. One house burnt down in the village of Kominternovo. Power lines were damaged causing electric power lost in the villages of Sakhanka, Dzerzhinskoye, Kominternovo, Zaichenko, and Leninskoye. In the afternoon, the Ukrainian side opened artillery fire on the village of Bezymennoye where the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination’s observation post was situated. The observation post appeared to be in close proximity to the site of the shelling.
On August 12th, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 23 times. 13 front-line towns and villages of the Republic came under Ukrainian military’s shelling.
According to DPR PM Command, the Air Defense Forces of the Republic shot down Ukrainian army’s Commandor combat drone with KZ-3 high-explosive shaped charge.
