The Ukrainian troops intensified the provocative shelling in the north of Gorlovka and in the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (the DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on May 28.
On the northern direction, the Kiev military opened fire on Zaytsevo and the north-western outskirts of Gorlovka with tanks, mortars, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms. The Ukrainian drones were active.
On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the area of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint, Yasinovataya, the village of Spartak, the area of the former Donetsk airport, and the northern outskirts of the Kievsky district in Donetsk.
On the Mariupol direction, the Ukrainian army shelled the village of Sakhanka.
According to DPR PM Command, the civilians were injured in the village of Krasnogorovka as a result of the morning shelling. Fire came from the villages of Mariinka and Kurakhovo located on the territory controlled by the Ukrainian army. DPR PM Command initiated an investigation of the incident.
According to recent information, on May 27, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 43 times and shelled 18 communities of the DPR. 2 houses in Gorlovka and Dokuchaevsk were damaged. Gas supply and electric power were lost in the village of Kominternovo.
