Trench combat is observed on the Gorlovka and Mariupol directions, the Ukrainian side insignificantly intensified the shelling of the front-line districts in Donetsk, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on May 12.
The situation is tense on the Gorlovka direction. A combat using small arms is underway in the area of Golmovsky, Zaytsevo, Shirokaya Balka, the village of the Gagarin coal mine, Zheleznaya Balka. From time to time, the Ukrainian military is utilizing the weapons of infantry fighting vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, and mortars of various calibers.
During the night, the Ukrainian army shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk with 120mm mortars, one house on Chekhov street was damaged. Power lines were damaged in the village of Trudovskiye. On the whole, the intensity of fire increased on the Donetsk direction in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone and the area of “Volvo-center”.
The situation remains tense on the Mariupol direction. The Ukrainian military is provoking trench combat.
According to recent information, on May 11, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 51 times. 21 villages and towns of the DPR were shelled. One house on Yakub Kolas street in the Nikitovksy district of Gorlovka and one house on Poletaev street in the village of Zaytsevo were damaged. 2 houses were damaged on Lenin street in the village of Mineralnoye of the Yasinovatsky district.
