Large-scale combat will erupt in the south-west of Ukraine once again if Kiev continues to shell Donbass territory, the representatives of Donetsk People’s Republic stated, “Izvestia” newspaper reports.
As the envoy of DPR to the Minsk talks Denis Pushilin stated, if Ukrainian authorities will not follow at least the first three articles of the Minsk Agreements, Kiev will be to blame for the new eruption of fighting.
According to him, the situation in the conflict zone escalates every day and nothing changes to better after new talks on the political resolution of the conflict.
“Ukraine doesn’t fulfill its obligations in both military and political terms,” Pushilin states, adding that the situation has escalated to the extreme in the past five-six days.
According to the Minsk Agreements, the sides of the conflict must, among other things, cease fire, withdraw heavy military hardware away from the contact line and provide for effective monitoring of the ceasefire.
