900 houses in west of Donetsk left without electricity after shelling by Ukrainian army

Six electrical substations in Petrovsky district of Donetsk were de-energized as a result of the night shelling by the Ukrainian military. 886 houses including apartment buildings, boiler station, and dentist’s office were left without electricity. The Head of district administration Maksim Zhukovsky informed Donetsk News Agency about this on August 3rd.

There is no information about human casualties. Zhukovsky added that, at the present moment, the maintenance crews are working on the restoration of the substations.

During the night Ukrainian military fired 124 artillery and 346 mortar shells at the front-line territories of Donetsk People’s Republic. A house burned down as a result of the shelling of Zaytsevo village on the northern outskirts Gorlovka.
