Small countries cannot be fully sovereign; they always fall into the orbit of larger ones, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 3 during the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
Small states always fall into someone else’s orbit, the political scientist emphasized. As an example he cited Armenia. Kurginyan noted that historically, it was within the orbit of either the Persian Empire or the Ottoman Empire, and “they were slaughtered in both cases, among other things, as Christians.” But when Armenia entered the orbit of the Russian Empire, and then the USSR, “things calmed down considerably and became much better.”
“There always have been force fields, within which things are somehow grouped. Therefore, every time some exited enthusiasts or provocateurs say – ‘We will be sovereign!’ – this means that they want to sell themselves to someone else. Not this one, but another,” the political scientist explained.
The Baltic States is another example. According to the expert, when the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) separated from the Soviet Union, where they were well-cared for; they fell into the orbit of either the United States or Germany, and are now being mercilessly plundered.
“In fact, the Soviet Union subsidized these Baltic states – now they’re being plundered,” said the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
The same thing happens to any small country. It inevitably falls into someone else’s orbit, the political scientist noted. As Kurginyan clarified, “it won’t exist as a sovereign molecule that says, ‘Cluck, cluck, cluck. I do whatever I want.'”
