Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated all Russian citizens on the anniversary of the accession of new regions to Russia in his video address published by the presidential press service on September 30.
The press service released a video message on the Russian President’s website, delivered by President Putin on the anniversary of the new territories joining Russia.
The President warmly congratulated “all citizens of Russia on this truly fateful event.”
In his video address, Putin thanked Russian citizens for their unity and patriotic spirit. He emphasized that Russia did not abandon its brothers and sisters during a difficult period in history and did everything possible to achieve a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
