The United States and China may return to normalization of relations because the Americans need the Chinese to buy their bonds, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on the air of the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel on November 17.
Kurginyan explained that China owns a huge US debt, and if the Chinese start to do something unexpected with it, it will be bad for everyone – both China and the United States. According to him, a moderate US-China rapprochement is possible due to many parameters that have a strong influence on the modern political agenda.
“People are petty, parameters are petty, one thing is consonant with another, and somehow all this could probably settle down, if it were not for history, if it were not for strategy, if it were not for the simplest ABCs of world relations,” the political scientist stressed.
Sergey Kurginyan noted that Americans have been friends with China for decades without paying attention to its ideological system. At the same time, the Americans received a huge profit from China and shared it, and China took advantage of it.
“China highly values US globalization. China wants nothing but this US globalization. Why? Because it benefits from this globalization. It benefits from it enormously. The more globalist the world becomes, the more China-centric, not US-centric, it is. That‘s the point,” the political scientist explained.
Kurginyan noted that at a certain point, the US elites “due to their shortsightedness, suddenly discovered that they were being overtaken by China, that China was growing faster and they were growing slower. Or that their development stagnates, and China grows more and more.”
The political scientist explained that such strong growth in China is due to the fact that there is a centralized strategic management there under the leadership of a constant subject – the Chinese Communist Party. On this basis, China has built a corresponding economy. In addition, China has a huge population with labor power, talent and a great desire to escape poverty and live well. At the same time, the Chinese Communist Party cares about the social prosperity of the Chinese people, including the Chinese grassroots.
“Because of these all parameters, China is growing rapidly. Rapidly! And the US elites are watching this very China overtaking them, starting to become greater than they,” the political scientist said.
