Russia’s enemies are trying to destroy the balance built by the country in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan explained on October 30 on a special edition of the Destiny program.
He explained that Russia is now in dire need of the Islamic world. Russia needs both Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries to maintain oil prices at their current level. The Russian authorities have learned to build relations with these countries, unlike the late Soviet authorities, the political scientist emphasized.
“We understand perfectly well the ambiguity of Europe. We understand quite precisely what is happening in Southeast Asia. Who can compel us in this situation to unbridled support for Israel, Israel (which behaves like a slightly insane), to unbridled support for a consumerist, and therefore not fully capable and very much linked to the Americans, that is, our main enemies, Israel?” explained Kurginyan.
This country has become consumerist and therefore has lost its independence and is now heavily dependent on the USA, which is our main enemy.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin is “doing everything possible to keep these [Israeli-Russian] relations normal.” The political analyst noted that Putin feels personal sympathy for Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and does not want to deteriorate relations with him.
However, the enemies attempt to undermine these relations and the neutrality that Russia is trying to maintain in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the political scientist explained.
“So, this relative balance must be undermined at all costs. In favor of what? In favor of this caliphatic Islam, which will lay his claims at the next stage,” he explained the policy of Russia’s enemies on this issue.
The political analyst said that in the current situation and because of oil policy, Russia “cannot oppose the Americans and the Islamic world simultaneously.”
Kurginyan noted that the country’s authorities, meanwhile, are well aware “that caliphatic Islam is controlled by the US elites.”
