The United States miscalculated, having decided that the Russian soul can be destroyed by turning the Russian people into philistines and demobilizing them, political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on October 3 in a new release of his author’s program Destiny.
The political analyst noted that according to a certain point of view Russian President Vladimir Putin made a mistake thinking that Ukraine could be defeated quickly.
“Let’s suppose that this is true. If mobilization was announced later – partial mobilization – then there were some mistakes. No one is arguing,” Essence of Time’s leader said.
At the same time, Sergey Kurginyan emphasized that the USA also made a mistake, although they do not talk about it. According to the political scientist, the Americans’ mistake was in their confidence that Russia, which they had demobilized comprehensively over the past 30 years, would be defeated in Ukraine in two weeks. However, something else happened.
“And everything is now happening there in a way it is. ‘Forever war”, “war of attrition” and so on. They did not expect this either,” Essence of Time’s leader said.
He posed a question why the events are developing in exactly this way. In his opinion, the answer lies in the fact that the Russian soul has not been destroyed.
“And why does it happen like this? Because neither deep regress, nor petty bourgeois happiness, nor the philistine way of life, nor demobilization, nor this feeling of being high can fully destroy the Russian soul,” specified the political scientist.
Sergey Kurginyan added that the US elites, who have made a hundred percent effort to destroy the Russian soul, cannot realize that they have failed.
“They thought it would take an effort of 100%. They said: well, let’s make an effort of 1000%! And they did it, and they said that everything has been already completely destroyed, nothing will ever happen here. But it’s starting to resist. Because it can’t be reduced to that. And to the extent that it is not reduced to that, we live! We live by the feat of the guys who shed their blood in Ukraine,” Kurginyan said.
