The Russian Aerospace Forces disrupted an attempted landing of Ukrainian militants in Crimea, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service informed on October 4.
The Ukrainian militants tried to land in the area of Cape Tarkhankut. The vehicles were found during the operation.
The operation involved three jet skis and one speedboat. They were destroyed by Russian aircraft, the Defense Ministry said.
On the night of September 10, a similar landing attempt was foiled. Three boats with the landing party were destroyed.
