Admiral Viktor Sokolov, commander of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, whom the Ukrainian authorities declared killed, attended the Defense Ministry board meeting, according to a video published by RIA Novosti on September 26.
Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu chaired the meeting in Moscow.
Last week, the Kiev regime struck Sevastopol. Air defense forces shot down five missiles, but the attack damaged the historic headquarters building of the Black Sea Fleet.
One military officer was missing after the attack.
The press service of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces command said 34 officers were killed, including the Black Sea Fleet commander.
