European initiatives to control the consumption of energy and other resources by the population are a manifestation of “green” fascism, according to a summary from the theater of war published in The Essence of Time newspaper, no. 536.
German authorities proposed to monitor how much energy each German family consumes. Opponents of the idea stated that the authorities wanted to create an “energy Stasi” to peek into other people’s boiler rooms – like a spy state.
“Should one exprect Europe to control water and air consumption to ensure that citizens are not exhaling too much carbon dioxide and polluting the nature? ‘Green’ fascism in action,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
