The Neo-Nazis in Ukraine understand much better than we do what is taking place, and they began to shape structures that are parallel to the existing authorities in their country, which can take control if necessary, co-author of the Ukrainism monograph Fyodor Kaufman said on the Dialogues program on Radio Komsomolskaya Pravda.
Obviously, the Ukrainian politicians have been complete scoundrels over many years. Before the Maidan, this political elite could only incorporate those who accepted the nationalist agenda to some extent.
After the Maidan it became total, and now this political elite consists exclusively of those who accept the Bandera Nazi ideology. As the next step they can launch the process of establishing a totalitarian Neo-Nazi state, the expert believes.
“The Neo-Nazis understand this very well, and they do not try to keep it secret anymore. Ex-Commander-In-Chief of the Ukrainian army Zaluzhny reiterates that a threat of a civil war exists. He notes that all those who were involved in combat can form a new power, and something needs to be done with it,” Kaufman said.
The caravan fatally goes this way, slowly in order to avoid unnecessary attention, but steadily. The process does not stop, and Western weapons arrive, people get training, structures work, the core remains functional.
“We watch a combat strike force being created based on the Neo-Nazi corps ‘Azov’ (organization banned in Russia) and ‘Charter’ (organization banned in Russia). It cannot be created simply because some Biletsky (included on the list of terrorists and extremists in Russia) wants so. Indeed, he is a terrorist, and he is not a person who can operate it all alone,” the expert explained.
There is every likelihood that it is backed by major forces both in Ukraine and in the West. They organize a very serious fascist revanchist actor, and we must not forget about it.
Answering a question what Russia should do Kaufman noted that first of all we must comprehend the actual situation and accept it. “What are we trying to say today? We can see that a Black International is being created, not in theory but in practice,” the expert said.
We discuss not even two but several aspects of this actor, he continued. Its integration into the global fascism as well as the ideological nature of Ukrainian fascism itself. This actor is definitely based on the Neo-Nazi mysticism first of all.
And the third thing that we discuss is its up-to-dateness both in terms of reforming their army and in weapons. We must see and understand that they are no gangs but a very complicated actor with passionate terrorist ideology, the expert added.
If we really admit this, although we do not actually understand this so far, then we must realize that such a Neo-Nazi actor is dangerous for Russia, for our people’s lives, and for our children’s future. If we acknowledge and realize this threat we will be able to respond, Kaufman concluded.
But if we continue turning a blind eye to it and saying that we are building a peaceful life then the Neo-Nazis will achieve their aim. Konstantin Cheprasov on the same program told in detail how deep the Ukrainian society is indoctrinated with their ideas. The Neo-Nazis are pushing Ukraine towards a total war.
As long as we maintain our peaceful way of living and say that we want to enjoy a quiet life away from the war we will not be able to do anything. Let us make the first step, i.e. acknowledge that someone specific, not abstract, wants to resolve the Russian issue forever, the expert said.
