The aggression against Iran has demonstrated the inadequacy of the US political elite and the impossibility of reaching agreements with it, and only shifting Russian citizens’ mindset toward military dominance and fortitude will allow Russia to withstand future wars, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on March 20 during the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
The political scientist explained that the US is currently destroying the oil resources of the Arab countries and Iran and taking control of Venezuela, and will then do everything possible to prevent Russia from selling its oil to China and India.
According to him, all Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil terminals are “just a warm-up for something bigger.” “This is a warm-up for some kind of a disruption to the oil supply between Russia and China,” Kurginyan noted.
The political scientist recalled that the dream of US Republicans has always been, and remains, the disintegration of Russia, turning it into a confederation.
“I have always said that the US Republicans definitely want there to be no Marxists and liberals, because, to them, those groups are synonyms with certain globalist Jewish groups, whom they dislike. That’s true. But they always want Russia to become a confederation. I have known this since the time of George H.W. Bush, with whom I was in a dialogue as I was an advisor to the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR… This has always been the Republicans’ dream!” Essence of Time‘s leader explained.
Those in Russia who “admire ultra-conservatives” must understand that attempts to build closer relations with Trump will not result in any “integration into the Western civilization” or dialogue with Russia, Kurginyan emphasizes.
“If there was no dialogue with Russia when those towers were destroyed [referring to the terrorist attack in New York on September 11, 2001 – Rossa Primavera News Agency], and when, according to the Russian president’s public statements, he offered George W. Bush both support and Russia’s membership in NATO, then why on earth will there be any dialogue now, when the main objective is to cut China off from Russia’s resources? Will they persuade the Russians to return to the same point called ‘integration into the Western civilization’? Will this illusion prevail again under Trump? And if so, for how long? For a year, a year and a half? Is there any indication that such integration is possible?” the political scientist asks.
According to him, the only evident thing is a deterioration in actual relations with the United States.
“Based on all this, the only conclusion we can draw is that they do not want the world to move along the track of even minimal prosperity, even some relatively modest hedonistic pleasures. “They will push the world in a different direction. And it has already started,” Kurginyan noted.
According to him, by the end of his presidential term, Donald Trump could very well go from ”a moderate” to “a rampant inadequacy,” “and who knows what else he will do.”
“And we just need to be prepared for this and understand that the only thing that can help Russia survive is the unity of fortitude and nuclear weapons, military might in general and fortitude,” the philosopher emphasized.
In his opinion, “military might and hedonism are two incompatible things,” as are “hedonism and survival in the face of a train derailing from its existing track onto a new one.”
“Iran’s experience demonstrates the inadequacy of those with whom Russia is trying to communicate in a reasonable manner. If this is done to deceive them, then good luck with that! But if anyone believes in this [possibility to restore the relations with the USA and the West as a whole], it will be a bitter hour in Russia’s history,” Kurginyan explained.
According to him, the troubles of the second half of the 21st century will be “incomparably greater than those Russia faces now,” and the country must be prepared for them.
“Russia’s main strength – its people – must be shifted onto new rails. People come first. And part of this new path is the dominance of the army and the military-industrial complex in the structure of the society, and fortitude, with a firm understanding that Russia will survive and withstand. Russia has persevered in worse situations – and it will do so again, but only by abandoning everything that has defined the past 30 years. This is the Iran’s lesson,” concluded the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
