On the ruins of the era of Modernity, a violent struggle between various types of world order began, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on February 20 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
The founder and ex-president of the World Economic Forum in Davos Klaus Schwab, speaking about the future, saw a world organized by corporations. According to the political scientist, Schwab’s model looked like a major Soviet enterprise, although privatized rather than owned by a socialist state.
“He [Schwab] meant a privatized version of a Soviet enterprise. This means it has its own hospital, its own school, its own preventative clinics, its own housing stock, its own personnel training, and an anthem of the corporation that becomes the basis,” the philosopher explained.
Also, Kurginyan told about his conversation with philosopher Georgy Shchedrovitsky, a close friend of outstanding Russian philosopher and publicist Aleksandr Zinovyev. According to Shchedrovitsky, Zinovyev had a special theory of Marxism. According to this theory, capitalism is not a formation, in contrast to slavery and feudalism. According to Zinovyev, capitalism is a transitional period from a humanized feudalism to a dehumanized one.
The political scientist drew a parallel between Schwab’s concept and the SS ideology, which was based on “international burgs,” i.e. castles forming feudal enclaves. This is exactly the kind of enclaves that Schwab sees as the future of the humanity.
“Thus, on the ruins of Modernity, a struggle between various types of world order is going on full swing. And we cannot say that there is anything homogeneous in this. As a result of the failure of the Modernity consensus, the rightists and the leftists are now looking at each other through the optical sight seeking to kill each other. There is no consensus anymore,” the philosopher stressed.
As an example he referred to the relations between Israeli liberals and Prime Minister Netanyahu, who have nothing in common except for their will to eliminate each other.
Consensus is also gone between the Democratic and the Republican parties in the US. US President Donald Trump speaks in a complicated manner about many things, but about his predecessor Joe Biden he puts it straightforwardly: first of all, “Bidenism” must be eradicated, and then the building of “conservative America” can begin.
