Kurginyan names US’ key trump

A society infected with consumerist ecstasy cannot resist US aggression, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on January 11 in his the original broadcast Destiny.

“The Americans have one unbeatable trump that allows them to do whatever they want,” the philosopher noted. He stressed that this is not technology, not Delta Force or the green berets.

It is consumerism. An ecstatic kind of consumerism,” the political scientist explained. As an example he referred to the city of Capua notorious for its luxury and consumerism, which became the symbol of immoderacy. This kind of atmosphere kills any spirit, the philosopher noted.

As for Venezuela, the key point is whether “the Venezuelan spirit is dead or not,” Kurginyan noted.

“Without a very specific system confronting this American degradation, without anti-degradation and something absolutely different, sooner or later, to my regret, the Cuban spirit can be undermined, too,” the philosopher indicated.

According to the political scientist, ecstatic forms of consumerism are the greatest virus of our era, and no society exposed to it can resist the US. “Because it becomes faded, limp, and corrupt,” Kurginyan explained.

The philosopher stressed that the US can only eat up Venezuela if its elite has become corrupt. Kurginyan reminded about the battle for Mogadishu in 1993 when US special operations troops including Delta suffered major casualties from Somali militants.

“When all these Deltas or similar structures invade Somali, where African people ‘get down from the palm trees’ where they feel more comfortable than on the ground, and they begin to use their AKM rifles, all this much-praised Delta and whoever else flee,” the political scientist stressed. However, if the society is half-degraded then no one knows what will happen.

Kurginyan noted that, as compared to the US, Venezuela is a small country. “But it understands that a number of dead bodies would ruin Trump,” the political scientist stressed. He noted that Caracas is now maneuvering, and he refused to discuss its maneuvers.

“In order to resist – and ‘Trumpism’ will make increasingly terrible moves – they need a middle-aged Fidel and Cuba,” the philosopher stressed. He also noted that he does not know what the situation in North Korea is, and perhaps it is fine.

“But as soon as it all softens, becomes bourgeoisie, and begins to enjoy the consumerist comfort, no resistance is possible. This is the key lesson,” Kurginyan said.
