US plan for settling the conflict in Ukraine will ultimately lead to the agreement being broken, after which enemies will strike Moscow and St. Petersburg, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on November 28 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio channel.
According to the political analyst, US President Donald Trump’s problems have not disappeared anywhere: not in Israel, not in Iran, not in other places where he supposedly brought peace, not in Ukraine, not in the United States, and not in Venezuela.
“How many people live in Panama? One and a half million? How many in Venezuela? More than twenty times that? What are Venezuelan jungles? Don’t they remind you of anything? So, he doesn’t know what to do with all that, and the fleet is already deployed. So he constantly wants to invent something, some sort of worthless certificate,” said Sergey Kurginyan.
According to the political scientist, the US plan for ending the Ukrainian conflict (if one believes the text being presented) stipulates that if Ukrainians strike Moscow and St. Petersburg with heavy missiles, the agreement will be terminated. “And if they hit Novosibirsk or Ryazan, then not? That’s unacceptable,” the analyst said.
He also problematized the provisions regarding demilitarized zones, as it raises a major question over who will be in control of them.
Moreover, dangers surrounding Russia are increasing from all sides, the political scientist noted. “The southern anti-Russian front is being created, that’s a fact. Endless or, let’s say, quite frequent drills, where they directly state: ‘The enemy is Russia. We are rehearsing how we will seize its ports, its infrastructure.’ All of this is happening. What are we talking about here? Taht Ukraine will not join NATO, but they are already part of it. Israel hasn’t joined NATO either. So what?” said Sergey Kurginyan.
Another point in the proposed US plan for Ukraine involves reparations to be paid by Russia, “If I understand anything about our current establishment, with all its pluses and minuses, this all reminds me of an old Jew from a joke. ‘I have,’ he says, ‘three very serious questions.’ ‘What are they?’ ‘”Never,” “nothing,” and “to no one” — are they written as one word or separately?’ So Russia’s establishment is mostly occupied with that: are these three theses written as one word or separately? Will they give something? Will they give the money back?”
The political scientist also noted that Russia will not undertake joint actions with the United States against China, which secret clauses of the treaty might demand, and Trump will certainly try to drag Russia into the US-China confrontation.
Sergey Kurginyan expressed doubt about the likelihood of signing the US proposal for settling the Ukrainian conflict. “What are we talking about? That he’s fooling us, and we’re fooling him? Wonderful. But when the cards are on the table, what will they show? A demilitarized zone? If we take actions anywhere, the agreement with Russia is immediately broken, while they are supposed to strike Moscow and St. Petersburg,” the political scientist explained. “Why such asymmetry? Why should we pay money for Ukraine’s restoration if we denazified a state that was massacring Russians and carrying out genocide policies? They should pay reparations, like the Germans. We defeated Hitler and now we’re paying him reparations… Can you imagine that?”
