Kurginyan describes US’ Central Asia strategy

The US plans to rob the population of Central Asia and, to this end, to encourage it to adopt Islamization, and then Washington will throw them against China, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on November 14 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.

Commenting the promise of the leader of Uzbekistan to invest over $100 billion in the US Kurginyan noted, “Uzbekistan perfectly understands that it is about to be robbed for this hundred billion over the next 10 years, and it will not give it because it does not have it.”

However, the leader of Uzbekistan promises to do so because he wants to please US President Donald Trump in order to avoid becoming similar to the Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro whom Trump hates, the political scientist indicated.

“But Trump is doing what our great poet Aleksandr Pushkin called ‘it is not hard to deceive me because I am happy to be deceived,’” the philosopher stressed.

After this promise, the US president can tell his voters that he “took 100 billion from Uzbekistan and trillions from Qatar,” the political scientist noted.

However, while Qatar and Saudi Arabia have the money, the Central Asian states have no money that they promised to give the US. “This means they will be forced to give it, and it will be taken from their people, and when people have to give their money they will increasingly look at Afghanistan,” Sergey Kurginyan described the trend.

Thus, two processes will actually take place: the robbing of the Central Asian republics and “the growth of Islamic radicalism,” the expert stressed.

“The concept of Grand Central Asia is a remake of the concept of Grand Middle East,” Kurginyan said. He reminded that the US strategy of Grand Middle East gave rise to Islamic radicalism.

“What will be the outcome of the concept of Grand Central Asia inspired by Starr, Rumsfeld, and other officials who are well in line with Trump’s policy? It will end with a concept of radical Islamization of Central Asia,” the political scientist stressed.

Kurginyan wondered how the current leaders of these countries see their future upon such a radicalization. “Will it be similar to Gaddafi’s or not? Do they believe that the Americans will like them so much that they will move their families to California?” the political scientist asked.

He said that maybe they will be moved, or maybe they will be forgotten as servant Firs from Chekhov’s novel “The Cherry Orchard.” However, the fate of the leaders of these countries will have nothing to do with the fate of the elites, intelligentsia, and other people.

“They will have to look into the eyes of radical Islamism, which must not be confused with the great religion of Islam,” Kurginyan said. He noted that the Islamization of Central Asia will become the second stage after the stage of the Islamization of Middle East.

“And the third part of the process will be to direct this radical Islamism against China,” the political scientist indicated the ultimate goal of this process.
