Analyzing with whom US President Donald Trump is connected and what he wants one can expect what he will do further, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on September 5 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
Kurginyan explained that in the Anglo-Saxon culture and scientific works that contributed the most to the formation of the political science of the 20th century, and one of such figures was intelligence officer, historian, and historiosophy expert Arnold Toynbee, parables can help in understanding what is taking place.
A parable that well describes Trump is a fiction parable by Babel, “where a Jew is describing an Odessa gangster Benya Krik.” The parable says, “You will never have any understanding of Benya Krik until you take into account that his father is Mendel Krik.” In order to understand who Mendel Krik is, the Jew in Isaak Babel’s novel Odessa Stories suggests that one should ask, “What does Mendel Krik think about?”
He says that Mendel Krik thinks “about having a good shot of vodka, about beating someone’s face, and about his horses.” He is a cab driver. And he does not think about anything else.
“One must ask himself what Donald Trump thinks about. He thinks about his Nobel Prize, about enjoying more praise, about elections, about conflicts inside his team etc. What else does he think about? He thinks about how to destroy China. He cannot help thinking about this. He has no chance. This is a bipartisan consensus. Be it a Democrat, a Republican, or a third power, everyone will think about how to destroy China, one way or another, by any means, this is the key idea,” the political scientist explained.
Even if Trump wants that, the Russian army will never fight China’s People’s Liberation Army with nuclear weapons, Kurginyan explained.
The analyst also told that in 1990s the current US president had ties with Vladimir Zhirinovsky’s deputy Aleksandr Vengerovsky. Vengerovsky had fascist views.
“And then he [Vengerovsky] finally raised concerns in one of the two major Jewish groups in the United States. One of the groups was associated with Bronfman and the other with Reichman. So, with Bronfman, it was a more or less democratoid Jewish version, somewhat more anti-Israel etc. But Reichman was a very pro-Israeli and super-conservative Jewish concept,” Kurginyan explained.
The political scientist noted that the Reichman group took a closer look at Trump, and they did not like something.
“There was something they did not like and there was something they liked. He [Reichman] ruined Trump as a friend of Vengerovsky, and then he raised him back. And a new Trump appeared, who could have some future after that,” the analyst told to explain with what group Trump is associated.
Besides, “this Trump has already bombed Iran,” the political scientist explained. However, this was done very inefficiently, “but he did it!” “Therefore, he will continue doing the same thing, because as soon as he makes a step in another direction he is dead,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.
He noted that these are the factors that restrict Trump’s moves on behalf of the groups that have influence on him. “No power in the United States will surrender Ukraine to us,” the political scientist explained.
Kurginyan explained that Trump “is a privileged outcast” and that friendship with him does not mean friendship with America.
