Zionism, i.e. Jewish nationalism, was necessary for the European anti-Semites to get rid of the Jewish diasporas, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on August 22 on the program Conversation with a Sage on radio Zvezda.
The political scientist noted that Israel was built on a number of foundations. “First: there was a common European anti-Semitism and a strong reluctance of the Jews to suffer within this anti-Semitism or to dissolve in national states thus permanently transforming into Frenchmen, Germans etc.,” Kurginyan explained.
The philosopher noted that the Jew’s existence in the diaspora is a particular issue. “He exists for thousands years. How does he exist? Why did not he assimilate completely? While many assimilated,” Kurginyan wonders.
However, the founder of Zionism Theodor Herzl and other theoreticians do not need this Jew of the diaspora, because “he is pathological in any event. He plays his violin and writes mathematical equations too much, or he can even be a businessman,” the philosopher explained.
For Zionism, according to Herzl and other Zionists, “a Sabra is needed, i.e. an indigenous, huge, practicing physical exercises and shooting, slightly stupid Israeli who can be the basis for nationalism like everywhere else,” Kurginyan explained.
“Where did artificial Hebrew come from to bring old times back? Because Yiddish is bad. Why is it bad? Because it is the language of the diaspora. And there must be no diaspora. Instead, Israel must exist. Herzl said there must be Israel,” the political scientist explained the basics of Zionism. The philosopher noted that Zionism is a Jewish nationalism.
“As for the Nazis, who were not completely defeated in 1945, they reacted to the idea of establishing an independent Israel by saying, ‘Perfect, let them gather in Israel, and then we will destroy them,’” Kurginyan indicated.
An extremely complicated composition appeared in the region. All Israel had to do was “prevent that from moving towards Islamism, i.e. towards HAMAS,” the political scientist explained.
However, this was exactly what Israel was doing, i.e. helping its gravedigger.
“When they realized what was taking place it was too late. It has spread across the area. It is moving that way. It cannot be stopped,” Kurginyan stressed. He noted that the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia) in Egypt was almost stopped, but not really.
