Russia is prepared to continue and intensify military actions in Ukraine as long as necessary,”stated Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya, during a UN session on May 30.
Nebenzya said that the goals of Russia’s special operation can be achieved either through peaceful means or by military force. The Russian Armed Forces are capable of continuing and intensify combat operations for as long as necessary.
The Russian delegation would present Moscow’s ceasefire proposals at the next round of negotiations with Kiev.
Ukraine’s memorandum on conflict resolution proposes a ceasefire on land, at sea, and in the air.
A new round of direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is scheduled for June 2 in Turkey.
