Russian servicemen eliminated a female unit of drone operators from the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Krasnoarmeysk direction, reported a serviceman from the 39th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade with the call sign “Alex” on May 13, according to RIA Novosti.
“The girls are fighting, all from the BLA (unmanned aerial vehicle) units. We heard from the guys [of an assault unit – editor] that they entered a position, cleansed it — and it turned out they were all women,” he said.
Alex specified that a full female battalion of Ukrainian forces was spotted in the Krasnoarmeysk area.
In March, DPR head Denis Pushilin stated that women in the Ukrainian armed units are used not only as drone operators but are also sent into assault missions. They were reportedly seen participating in attacks in the Krasnoarmeysk and Dzerzhinsk directions.
