The Russian Armed Forces targeted the infrastructure of Ukrainian military airfields and defense industry enterprises, the Russian Defense Ministry said on May 4.
“Targets included infrastructure facilities of military airfields, defense industry enterprises, production workshops and storage sites for unmanned aerial vehicles, a launcher of the Neptune anti-ship missile system, ammunition depots, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed units in 158 areas,” the statement reads.
To carry out these strikes, the Russian Armed Forces employed tactical aviation, attack drones, missile forces, and artillery.
Additionally, the ministry reported that in the past 24 hours, air defense systems destroyed two JDAM guided aerial bombs, a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system missile (US-made), and 146 drones.
