The opportunity to be on Red Square on the day of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory is an honor, stated Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez on May 3 on social media platform X.
Bermúdez announced that within a few hours he would be arriving in Russia, a country dear to him, to participate in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
“Cuba will be on Red Square on May 9. It is an honor,” he emphasized.
