The Ukrainian militants received orders to kill civilians in the settlement of Krasnoye in the DPR from their commanders, RIA Novosti reported on April 25.
“The Ukrainian militants had an order to liquidate all the civilian population that is in the settlement. Accordingly, of the male population, we did not meet anyone there. They are mostly children, women, grandmothers,” said the commander of the 60th separate motorized rifle battalion with the call sign ‘Myth’.
According to an eyewitness, the Ukrainian militants closed people in basements without food and water.
The Russian servicemen, having liberated the settlement, found hungry, dehydrated locals there, who were given first aid.
“There were, of course, residents who were shot. A specific figure I can’t tell you, but there were such cases. They are mostly young women. Maybe about 30 years old,” – noted the officer.
The settlement of Krasnoye in the DPR was liberated at the end of December 2024 by a Russian unit of the Center Group.
