Russia needs military-patriotic autarky to survive, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 21 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
According to the political scientist, if one considers the situation in the context of a conflict with the West from the standpoint of Russia’s survival, then it is necessary to move in the most moderate way to a rearmament program that will be absolutely independent of both the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and the US.
Russia must return to a reasonable military-patriotic autarky that will secure Russia’s survival, Sergey Kurginyan emphasized.
Autarky (from the Greek αὐτάρκεια — self-sufficiency, self-reliance) is a closed economic system designed to use only internal capabilities.
There is no price that would be too high to implement this, the political scientist emphasized.
“Failure to implement it while instability is growing, and it is clearly growing, could result in the physical destruction of the Russian people. And at this point, all the liberal grimaces and cheers about the new rapprochement with the US will be completely unacceptable,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement said.
