Russian army destroys Ukrainian military convoy fleeing from Sudzha

09.03.2025, Moscow.

A convoy of Ukrainian army vehicles attempting to leave Sudzha (Kursk Region) was destroyed by operators of the Rubikon Center’s drones of the Russian Defense Ministry, the ministry’s press service reported on March 9.

“Ukrainian militants and equipment fleeing the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region were destroyed by operators of the Rubikon Center’s drones of the Russian Defense Ministry,” the statement reads.

A corresponding footage was published, showing the sequential destruction of a convoy of 8-9 vehicles by drones.

Earlier, Reuters, citing Ukrainian and Western experts, reported that the Ukrainian armed units near Sudzha are almost completely surrounded, with its main supply routes cut off.

Therefore, in the near future, the Ukrainian armed units near Sudzha will either have to attempt to retreat back to Ukraine, which will result in losses and political and psychological problems, or they will be completely surrounded, leading to capture or death, military analysts quoted by the agency stated.
