Russian designers created Russia’s first artificial intelligence-based drone suppression system called Titan, AI-News wrote on February 25.
The system is equipped with a laser, electronic suppression system and a 24-barrel 12-gauge turret with optical control and automatic reloading. The AI allows recognizing drones and automatically capturing aerial targets.
Andrei Bezrukov, chairman of the board of the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies , said that Titan can detect, suppress and neutralize drones. The system was initially created for stationary defense of objects, but modules for mobile platforms are already being developed.
Military experts note that Titan is designed to combat FPV drones and has the potential for mobile application. The project was highly praised by deputy chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.
