Kurginyan explains what the world should expect from Trump’s rise to power

With US President Donald Trump and the protégé from Silicon Valley, Vice President James Vance coming to power, the world will find itself on the brink of “technocratic brutality,” said philosopher, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 9 in an interview to Republican Channel One in Donetsk.

The world is “on the threshold of a radical change in the way the wars are conducted, a radical technocratic transformation,” the analyst explained. This can already be seen on the contact line of the Russian-Ukrainian front, and one can “imagine what will be happening on a global scale, when the new arms race begins,” the expert says.

Outlining “the contours of the world that looms on the horizon,” Sergey Kurginyan listed many escalation points: “We must expect trouble in Belarus. A new type of trouble. They [in the West] are trying to buy it [Belarus], but as soon as they realize that this does not have the result they need, trouble will start there,” the analyst assures.

We must expect an escalation of Polish offensiveness and the Intermarium project; troubles in Moldova, including Transnistria; escalation throughout the Southern Arc; in Transcaucasia, a gradual transfer of certain paradigms, which, at a moment, are touching but not affecting us, to the territory of the North Caucasus, and first of all to Dagestan; attempts at destabilization within Russia, including the regions that seem most desirable to them,” Kurginyan warns.

In attempts to destabilize Russia, the West will bet on the escalation of the migrant issue, the radicalization of anti-Kremlin information campaigns, and an ever greater demonization of the authorities, the analyst says. He also mentions the creation of tension in the Far East around China, as well as the prospect of ever greater militaristic frenzy in Japan, the cooperation between Japan with Turkey, and the destabilization of Afghanistan.

The political scientist especially highlights the prospect of extreme destabilization in Syria.

If it seems to someone that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (organization banned in Russia), and the new leader [Abu Muhammad al-Julani] are at least somewhat nice and peaceful, then it seems to me personally that this is a complete misconception, a very dangerous misconception. This is a radical version of the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia), and these are people who are well connected with ISIS (organization banned Russia), and with Al-Qaeda (organization banned in Russia) and with all other banned organizations,” the analyst said.

This would be an escalation of chaos in Syria, combined with chaos in Iraq, which will become increasingly intense, acute tensions in relations with Iran, an escalation of the Yemeni factor and an attempt to militarize Europe with gradual attempts to supplement the militarization with “some conservative transformations”, Kurginyan explained.

But this will be secondary in relation to the spirit of militarization itself,” said the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
