Russian Armed Forces liberate Nadiya village in LPR

Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Nadiya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) following a successful offensive, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on January 4.

“Units of the Group of Forces Zapad, as a result of successful offensive actions, liberated the village of Nadiya in the Lugansk People’s Republic,” the statement reads.

The report also mentions that the Group of Forces Zapad defeated the enemy in the areas of Dvurechnaya, Glushkovka, Ivanovka, Zagrizovo, Zelyony Gai (Kharkov Region), Torskoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), and the Serebryansk Forestry. Additionally, a counterattack by Ukrainian stormtroopers was repelled.

The Ukrainian side lost up to 590 militants, three pickup trucks, a 152-mm D-20 gun, three 122-mm D-30 howitzers, a 122-mm “Striga” multiple rocket launcher of Czech production, and other military equipment.
