Anti-humanistic elites want the world to abandon faith in human development and take the path of returning to something completely ancient and misanthropic on a new technological basis, said philosopher, political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 20 in the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio station.
The political scientist notes that there are ancient conflicts in the world that continue to exist throughout history. He cited the example of the Time of Troubles in Russia [the period of social crisis and unrest in Russia between 1598 and 1613 – translator’s note], which echoes throughout the entire history of the country.
“And what exactly happened during the Time of Troubles is a separate issue. Who was this Dmitry [False Dmitry I]? They say he was a highly educated person with a brilliant career. But how did it happen that people, including Vishnevetsky who was very close to the ruling families of Moscow, recognized and accepted him? Did he present something? Did he present some incredibly significant artifacts? If so, what was it?” the leader of the Essence of Time movement touched upon several issues related to the Time of Troubles.
He also added that everything that was alive in previous epochs is still alive today, and “it can transform into something else in the next decade of our lives”.
Sergey Kurginyan pointed out that only research groups that “do not shy away from everything related to the concept of ‘private intelligence’” can study such issues. Otherwise, according to the political scientist, these researchers will find themselves hostage to extremely ancient structures inherited through many generations.
“And no one has said that these structures do not include representatives of families who have determined the fates of countries and states, including Russia,” he added.
In this regard, the political scientist conveyed the essence of his old conversation with the Soviet and Russian philosopher and methodologist Georgy Shchedrovitsky, who in turn spoke about his friend, the philosopher Alexander Zinoviev, and Zinoviev’s specific understanding of Marxism.
“He [Zinoviev – Rossa Primavera News Agency], he said, believed that capitalism is not really a formation (and there was a theory of social formations: slavery, feudalism, capitalism, and so on), but that capitalism is a transitional period from humanized feudalism to de-humanized feudalism. And this transitional period is now coming to an end,” Kurginyan shared Shchedrovitsky’s story about Zinoviev.
In this regard, the political scientist noted that humanized feudalism is Christian feudalism, and posed a question: What is de-humanized feudalism? He also posed another question: What is meant by “techno-feudalism”, which Klaus Schwab spoke about?
“Which elites lay claim to which anti-humanistic forms of power? And what kind of forces have actually clashed in Ukraine? Because techno-feudalism is actually de-humanized feudalism. Is it possible that the long way from the human ascension, the utopia of such ascension, the faith in such possibility to what is happening now is the end of a certain path, which suggests returning to something completely ancient and misanthropic on a new technological basis?” said the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
At the same time, Kurginyan explained that such concept is linked to the idea of inequality in the human race, that “most people are not people or that those who are real people are not entirely people.”
