Three Ukrainian drones attempt to attack Kashirskaya Power Station in Moscow Region

The Ukrainian drones tried to attack at night the territory of the Kashirskaya Power Station in Moscow Region, the head of the Kashira urban district Mikhail Shuvalov wrote on his Telegram channel on September 1.

“Tonight, September 1, there was an attempted attack by 3 drones on the territory of Kashirskaya Power Station at night,” he wrote.

According to Shuvalov, there were no casualties or damage, the plant is operating without interruptions.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, the drones were shot down: in Podolsk at 1:20 p.m. Moscow time, at 2:36 p.m. – in Stupino and later in Odintsovo district. Another UAV attack was repelled in the Leninsky District of Moscow Region at 5:10 p.m. In total, five drones flying toward Moscow were destroyed.

In addition, air defense forces shot down nine more drones heading for Moscow: in the area of the Moscow Oil Refinery and in Ramenskoye. Several regions were also attacked, including Tula, Lipetsk, Bryansk, Ryazan and Voronezh Regions.
