It will take the United States a year to pass all necessary laws in Ukraine, after which it will get rid of Vladimir Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 5 at a meeting with foreign journalists, the press service of the presidential administration informed.
Putin noted that the Russian leadership was aware of Washington’s demands to Zelensky – to lower the age for mobilization to 18.
“Then they will get rid of Zelensky… The law must be passed, certain steps must be taken. Now we are in June 2024. To do all this, it seems to me, it takes a year. Until spring, until the beginning of at least next year, he will be tolerated, and when he does everything, they will say: ‘Goodbye’,” the Russian leader said.
In 2022, Ukraine announced a general mobilization for a period of three months. At that time, men aged 27 to 60 and 18 to 27 were mobilized only if they had completed compulsory service, a military department and had combat experience.
