Russian servicemen captured an officer of the French Foreign Legion near Kleshcheyevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Telegram channel Voennoye Delo wrote on May 24.
It is reported that the French officer was wounded and is in serious condition, and Russian military medics are currently fighting for his life.
Earlier, it became known that French soldiers, recruited in the 3rd Infantry Regiment of the Foreign Legion, arrived in Ukraine to help the Ukrainian armed units.
