Kurginyan: To win we must understand against whom the USSR lost in the cold war

12.05.2024, Aleksandrovskoye.

The USSR failed to permanently destroy the fascist beast in 1945, and exactly this beast defeated it in the cold war, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on May 9 in his celebratory address.

The political scientist stressed that the heroic deed of the Soviet people and the Soviet country that defeated fascism in 1945 is beyond any doubt. At the same time, he reminded that the communists behaved awfully at the moment the USSR collapsed. Meanwhile, the behavior of the “hateful Nazi scum” is noteworthy, according to the leader of Essence of Time.

These Nazis did not rush to banks or companies or other parties; they retreated in consolidated ranks, look at all those ODESSA, Die Spinne etc. They regrouped, and they were the ones who collapsed the Soviet Union in the cold war. The point is not only that we lost the cold war, but also against whom we lost it,” the political scientist said.

Sergey Kurginyan explained that exactly those who lost against the Soviet Union in 1945 were responsible for the nazification of the United States and the entire West. He noted that fascism was not then permanently destroyed, and this is something we need to comprehend and to remedy.

We cannot avoid great sorrow for the defeat in the cold war combined with admiration of the heroism of those who defeated then (but not permanently) the Nazi beast. And we cannot avoid thinking about what we must do to prevent the beast, that returned and defeated us, from winning forever and destroying the humanity,” the leader of Essence of Time stressed.

The political scientist added that everything that is taking place in Ukraine today “is only the first sign of such an arrival of death, hell, dominance of the evil, and obsession of emptiness, inside which there can only be the instinct of suppressing one’s neighbor just for the sake of establishing one’s own existence (which is doubtful in this era).”

In conclusion, Sergey Kurginyan congratulated the audience on the Victory Day, and he wished that this holiday should become a way to prepare ourselves for new and much greater, multi-dimensional, and ultimate fights against our enemy.
