Pushilin announces DPR’s new goal: Liberation of Russian cities

11.05.2024, Donetsk.

The Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) is setting itself a new goal of regaining control of “Russian cities,” DPR head Denis Pushilin said in an interview with RIA Novosti on May 11.

All “Russian cities”, including Kharkov, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk, should be “liberated” from the control of Ukrainian nationalists, Pushilin said.

Pushilin is sure that these cities are historically Russian and their residents are our people, some of whom were misled by Ukrainian Nazis. He also emphasized that these cities, like Donbass, did not support the coup in Kiev in 2014.

“I am talking, of course, about Kharkov, I am also talking about Odessa, I am talking about Dnepropetrovsk, I am talking about many other cities, real Russian cities. If you dig into the history, [these are the cities – Rossa Primavera News Agency] which according to our conviction should remain Russian, historical justice should also be restored,” Pushilin added.
