Strikes on hangars and warehouses at three Ukrainian airfields were carried out by Russian forces, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on April 28.
“A group of operational-tactical aviation, missile forces and artillery forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed hangars with strike drones at the Kamenka airfield in Dnepropetrovsk region,” it said.
Warehouses of aviation equipment and aviation ammunition at the airfields of Priluki ( Chernigov region) and Starokonstantinov (Khmelnitsky region) were also struck.
Over the past 24 hours, strikes were carried out in 121 areas against places where foreign mercenaries were deployed, as well as against AFU manpower and equipment. 46 Ukrainian drones and five American ATACMS missiles launched by the AFU were shot down.
Novobakhmutovka ( DPR) was liberated and units of the 42nd Infantry, 24th Mechanized and 68th Yeager Brigades of the AFU were defeated near Leninskoye, Keramik and Semyonovka (DPR).
