In the early 1990s, the German elites dreamed that they could integrate with Russia and “push the US into the Atlantic Ocean,” said political scientist, analyst, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 5 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
The political scientist recalls one event that happened when he was an adviser to Ruslan Khasbulatov, the Chairman of the Supreme Soviet (October 1991 – October 1993) of the RSFSR (the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic). At the request of the former assistant to Alexander Rutskoy, who served as the only Vice President of Russia, an analyst Andrei Fedorov, Kurginyan and a group of advisers aiding to the top state officials went to the capital of Bavaria, Munich, for an event at the Foundation for Science and Politics.
At the plenary session of this event, an adviser to German Chancellor Helmut Kohl “said in a menacing voice: ‘When Russia and Germany will integrate, we will push the US into the Atlantic Ocean and become real friends,” noted Sergey Kurginyan.
“This voice, all these words still ring in my ears. It was an official meeting at an official level – these were very strong statements,” the analyst emphasized.
At the reception, after the official part of the meeting, the German adviser spoke along with the Bundestag faction leader in charge of the environmental party, added the political scientist. Kurginyan, in a conversation with her, noted that if the Germans at the event want to discuss whether the Atlantic Ocean will become German internal waters, then they should know that the Russian side “has nothing against it.”
“She answered me in a very feminine way: as she moved her hands the way they do it in certain frivolous German films, she said: ‘Nein, nein, nein!’ What for?! Why are you telling me all this, we are not allowed to hear it! We can’t hear this, because we think about it all the time!’” said the political scientist.
Some time later, it turned out that this politician, she jumped out of the window, noted Sergey Kurginyan.
