Ukrainian authorities recognize traveling circus as a critically important enterprise

09.04.2024, Kiev.

The status of a critical enterprise and exemption from mobilization for its employees has been granted to Ukraine’s traveling circus, Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak said in his Telegram channel on April 8.

He noted that together with the firm of the Ukrainian president’s office, the Traveling Circus of Ukraine also received the status of a critical enterprise.

The organization received the status of a “critically important enterprise… for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the life of the population during a special period”, the MP explained.

Another Ukrainian MP, Aleksey Goncharenko (included in the list of terrorists and extremists on the territory of the Russian Federation) also confirmed this information. He said that he was not surprised by the decision, as the whole situation with mobilization and reservation for the mobilized “has long ago turned into a circus.”

The MP noted that there are no defense or industrial enterprises on the list. However, it somehow included firms breeding camels, carrying out repairs and releasing computer games.
