03.04.2024, Moscow.

The number of those willing to serve in the Russian army under contract significantly increased, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry wrote on April 3.

Since the beginning of 2024, more than 100,000 people have already enlisted in the Russian Armed Forces under contract.

“In Moscow and other Russian cities, the number of those wishing to enroll for military service under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has significantly increased,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

According to the information provided, the increased interest in military service is due to several factors:

Stability and social protection: contract servicemen receive decent salaries, are entitled to free medical care and many social guarantees, including housing;

Career opportunities: the Russian Armed Forces offer contract servicemen opportunities for professional development and career growth;

Patriotism and desire to serve their country: in the context of geopolitical tensions, many Russian citizens realize the importance of defending their homeland and are ready to devote themselves to military service.

The Russian Ministry of Defense highly appreciates patriotism and the desire of citizens to defend the Fatherland. The ministry expressed its desire to continue to work on creating attractive conditions for military service under contract so that the ranks of the Russian Army are replenished with highly qualified and motivated personnel.
