Russian Aerospace Forces strike a tank factory in Kharkov

The Russian Aerospace Forces struck the Kharkov transport machine-building plant and two thermal power plants. The coordinator of the Nikolaev underground, Sergey Lebedev, told this to RIA Novosti on March 22.

Lebedev specified that residents have noticed about 20 explosions, and the attacks continue. Fires broke out at Kharkov thermal power plants 5 and 3, causing problems with electricity, water supply and heating. As part of the strike, Ukrainian militants responsible for the attacks on the Belgorod Region could have been struck, as well as a group of foreign mercenaries, Lebedev added.

The Russian Armed Forces are attacking Ukrainian infrastructure, including energy, defense industry, military administration and communications. That is why air alert alarm is heard throughout the city of Kharkov, and residents are advised not to leave their homes until lunchtime due to the blocking of many neighborhoods.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitriy Peskov has said that the Russian army is not attacking residential houses and social facilities during the fighting with the Ukrainian armed units. A factory specializing in repairing tanks affected by the strikes is mainly engaged in servicing foreign combat vehicles.
