Citizens of the Donetsk People’s Republic have started early voting for the Russian presidential election at all DPR polling stations, the press service of the DPR election commission said on March 10, the Donetsk News Agency (DNA) reported.
The election commissions located in some areas near the contact line were the first to start early voting.
A representative of the press service said that at 08:00 Moscow time, mobile groups of precinct election commissions left for early voting. “They will work until 20:00,” the press service reported.
According to the press service, within a few days, from 10 to 14 March, residents will have the opportunity to vote in the adjacent territories, and from 15 to 17 March will be organized voting at stationary polling stations.
Earlier it was reported that 626 precinct election commissions will work on the territory of the DPR and two mobile groups for mobile voting will be formed from each of them.
Early voting in the territories that are in close proximity to the line of contact started on February 25.
