Head of Kherson region reports the complete liberation of the village of Krynki

29.02.2024, Melitopol.

The village of Krynki in Kherson region and the surrounding area have been completely cleared, but the Ukrainian armed units are making attempts to land on one of the islands, the head of Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said on February 29.

He also specified that on February 27, the Ukrainian armed units tried to land from the Black Sea, but their plans were thwarted by the Russian armed forces. At the same time, the Ukrainian nationalists lost 20 people. In addition, the Russian military seized three boats with NATO weapons. Currently, the hostilities are continuing, but now the Russian Armed Forces are clearly controlling the situation, Saldo added.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the territory of the village of Krynki was completely cleared by the Russian army. Ukrainian nationalists, hoping to break through to Crimea, have concentrated in Krynki four brigades of the 30th Marine Corps, which had previously fought in other areas, including Mariupol. In total, the Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 3,400 people in the battles for the village.

While attempting to break through to Crimea, the Ukrainian armed units occupied a narrow section near the village of Krynki, thus effectively sending their men to extermination. The Ukrainian military landed on boats under fire from artillery, UAVs and other means of destruction.
